When the leaders of a major global 3PL saw how our power assist solutions were helping customers across industries, they sought our help to help make their operations more efficient. Materials routinely needed to be moved to various points along consistent routes within their distribution centers. Valuable human resources were being used to drive transports when they could have been deployed for higher value tasks.

Dane collaborated with this industry leader to create the Vision Guided Vehicle (VGV) autonomous tug. Today hundreds of them are operating in dozens of their distribution centers greatly improving efficiency and safety. The VGV drives thousands of routes per day unassisted reducing costs and increasing productivity to deliver stellar ROI.

Dan Johnson

Founder and CEO

Dan is an innovative problem solver with a proven track record of launching and growing successful companies. His expertise in raising capital and managing teams to profitability stems from his strong background in finance and executive leadership. Dan has distinguished himself in technology innovation, inventing multiple software solutions with patents issued and pending in asset management, emissions management, energy management, and power assist systems.

He also serves as Chairman of the Board of LEVO AG.

Don Legatt

SVP, Director Global Manufacturing & Engineering

Don is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in product development and manufacturing operations. At Dane Technologies, he drives innovation, streamlines processes, and delivers high-quality products while fostering cohesive, high-performing teams. Known for his hands-on approach and dedication to excellence, Don has contributed to multiple successful product launches and innovations throughout his career. His leadership ensures Dane Technologies continues to excel in engineering and operational performance.

 

Lori Luckow

CFO

Lori oversees the company’s operational accounting, HR and IT, and is responsible for financial reporting, maintaining the accounting system, and cash flow. As part of the corporate management and leadership team, Lori participates in developing and implementing Dane’s financial strategic planning decisions.  Lori and her team also perform project and cost accounting, providing financial analysis and reporting.  Her continued objectives are to shape the finance team and processes to provide the best possible support to the business as it continues its expansion strategy. Prior to joining Dane Technologies, Lori worked in finance for over 25 years and held senior finance roles in various small to mid-sized manufacturing companies.
