When the leaders of a major global 3PL saw how our power assist solutions were helping customers across industries, they sought our help to help make their operations more efficient. Materials routinely needed to be moved to various points along consistent routes within their distribution centers. Valuable human resources were being used to drive transports when they could have been deployed for higher value tasks.
Dane collaborated with this industry leader to create the Vision Guided Vehicle (VGV) autonomous tug. Today hundreds of them are operating in dozens of their distribution centers greatly improving efficiency and safety. The VGV drives thousands of routes per day unassisted reducing costs and increasing productivity to deliver stellar ROI.
